Letort Spring Run, where Fox, Trimmer, Marinaro and other legends made angling history. Where mists of early morning let the angler of this present day Heritage Trout Water imagine a shadowy figure false casting to an upstream trout.
Fisheries Management Division biologists for the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission monitor wild trout populations in Letort Spring Run, Cumberland County. Photos are of the electrofishing survey of trout populations conducted at several locations on Letort Spring Run on August 25-26, 2003. The tables show the comparison of the total number of trout by length captured for the same sites sampled in previous years.
